Experimenting in colors, shapes and sizes, with murrini accents.
These two pieces started out as one though each half of the circle had a very different feel and tone to them. I sawed the circle into two, then used different color background glass to bring out the warm tones on one and cool tones on the other. The murrini, pulled strings of glass chopped up, added both texture and color to enhance the initial piece of glass from the circle. This piece also evolved from the colors in the piece with the colored squares.
